About
hello, world human
I'm Damien, an assistant professor (tenure-track) at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), specialized in human-computer interaction for mobile and wearable technologies, augmented and virtual reality.
Previously, I completed a Ph.D. in cognitive computing and computer science (double degree program) under the supervision of Charles Gouin-Vallerand at TELUQ University (Montréal, Canada) and Sébastien George at Le Mans University (Laval, France). Then, as a postdoctoral researcher, I joined the User Experience Research Group led by Professor Jonna Häkkilä from the University of Lapland (Faculty of Art and Design) in Finland.
